Once you verify your account, you will be able to deposit funds from your personal UK GBP bank account.
To make a deposit you need to know the banking details, to find them:
Go to your Accounts page;
Scroll down until you find your British Pound account;
On the right, you will see the bank details that you need to use for the deposit:
All GBP bank transfers from personal bank accounts are processed automatically 24/7.
Please note: GBP transfers are processed using the Faster Payments Scheme. Not all banks are signed up to it, so you may want to check up with your bank or your provider prior to making a deposit, whether they support Faster Payments or not.
Important: some banks might not recognise NearPay's sort code, as it begins with "0". This can happen when a bank does not update its Extended Industry Sort Code Directory (EISCD) correctly. The other possibility is that they have an old system that does not register the 0 at the beginning of the Sort Code. Please enquire with your bank if there is such an issue.
Please also note: you cannot link your NearPay account number and sort code to PayPal. All bank transfers between your NearPay account and PayPal are not supported and will be cancelled by our Payments team.
